Why Premium?
Free is enough to get the core experience: hit Connect, hear another human, hang up when you want, repeat. Most people will never need more than that.
Premium exists for three specific cases:
- You want privacy. Free calls are public on the Live tab. Premium calls are private — only you and the other person are on the call, no listeners.
- You want control over who you meet. Filters let you match on gender, age, shared interests, or proximity. Useful if you're using HereSay for something specific (practicing a language, meeting people in your area, dating-adjacent).
- You don't want to wait. Priority matching jumps you ahead of the free queue at busy hours.
FAQ
Will the free tier ever go away?
No. The free tier is part of the product — public calls and the Live tab are core to how HereSay works. Premium adds privacy and control on top, but never removes the free experience.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account at any time. You keep Premium features through the end of the period you paid for, then revert to Free.
Do you offer refunds?
If something's wrong, email [email protected] and we'll work it out. We don't do auto-refunds for "I forgot to cancel" but we will refund obvious accidents (double-charges, signups you didn't intend).
Is Premium really private? You're not recording, right?
Correct. We don't record calls — Free or Premium. The Premium difference is that we don't expose the call to listeners on the Live tab. Audio is peer-to-peer WebRTC; even our servers don't sit in the call path for most pairs. See our privacy policy for what we do log.
Do filters guarantee a match?
No. Filters narrow the pool. If nobody matching your filters is online, you'll wait longer or get no match. The platform falls back to broader matching after a configurable wait if you've allowed it.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) and any wallet supported by Stripe (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link). No crypto.
Can I gift Premium to someone else?
